GEN -DRAW 3850 is a mulit-purpose, heavy duty, water soluble drawing lubricant designed to form aluminum and steel. With superior lubricity Gen-Draw 3850 increases die life, improves surface finishes, produces greater dimensional accuracy, and reduces scrap and allows faster press speeds. The additives used in Gen-Draw 3850 provide boundary and extreme pressure lubricity. Residual films of Gen-Draw 3850 provide in-plant, in-process corrosion protection, do not interfere with welding, and are readily removed with mild alkaline cleaners at low temperatures. Gen-Draw 3850 is non-hazardous. By varying the dilution of Gen-Draw 3850 can virtually perform all of the forming operations in your plant. Typical forming operations performed with Gen-Draw 3850 include blanking, tube bending, ironing, deep drawing roll forming, and blanking.
